Partner Serwis was established as the result of restructuring of ABB - an international company offering a complete package of products and services in the field of electric power engineering and automation. ABB was able to operate in Poland thanks to its acquisition of several electrical shops at large industrial plants in the years 1997 - 1999.
In the years 1999 – 2003, two large companies were established ABB as the result of ABB's numerous restructuring processes in Poland, namely ABB Service [Polish corporate headquarters] and ABB HK Service [branch in Dąbrowa Górnicza, primarily serving Huta Katowice]. In 2003, successive restructuring processes led to the establishment of Grupa Partner Sp. z o.o., which took over two companies: Partner Serwis and Partner Elektra. In 2009, Partner Serwis acquired the shares of T-System Projekt – a company from Łódź, offering comprehensive solutions in the field of drive technology, mechatronics, automation and machine safety. Since then, Partner Serwis has been pursuing a development strategy to consolidate its operations. And so, as the result of acquisition of the remaining Partner Elektra shares from Mittal Steel Polska, since 1 March 2010, the two companies, i.e. Partner Services and Partner Elektra, now operate under a single logo - Partner Serwis Sp. z o.o.
The long-term objective of the planned merger is to expand the company's range of services by specialized services with the use of mutual structures, as well as to reduce operating costs and concentration of capital.
Currently Partner consists of seven branches: Legnica, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Kwidzyń, Elbląg and Olsztyn - all providing industrial services and employing a total of approx. 500 people.
