Advantages of conventional driveline systems
modernization:

wearing equipment,
- implementation of new technical solutions which
results in quicker and simpler malfunctions diagnostics,
- improvement of machine tool security through adopted
technical solutions and used subassemblies,
The example of such project is the modernization of
WOTAN 1000 boring machine regarding replacement of transistors and integrated
circuit based control system as well as multifunctional feed and rotary
selectors by SIMATIC S7-300 controller together with specially designed PLC
program which took place in 2009.
